Miss Nami Asaji, sometimes referred to as Miss Nami is Takato Matsuki, Kazu Shioda, Kenta Kitagawa, and Jeri Katou and Yuuji Terayama and Amie juri and Tadashi Nakabayashi and Taizou Aoyama and JEREMY and Miki Nakajima and Ayaka Itou's teacher. Mr. Mori is apparently in love with her.

Miss Asaji made Takato stand outside when he was late for class, during which he drew the picture of Guilmon and designed him.
She also defended Takato from a cop asking him questions he did not understand one night when he was mistaken for one who terrorized people with fireballs, telling him she was walking Takato home.
Miss Asaji fell asleep on the bus trip, at which point Guilmon, who was on the bus, stopped hiding. Miss Asaji slept through Kenta's singing.
Like most humans, she became aware of the existence of Digimon when Vikaralamon attacked. When Takato, Kazu, Kenta, and Jeri told her (through letters they wrote after intentionally being put in detention) that they were going to the digital world, introducing her to Terriermon, she tried to talk them out of it, concerned for their safety as they apparently "can't even go through PE without getting hurt", but they walked away.
Miss Asaji and her class later cheered for the tamers during the fight with the D-Reaper. After the D-Reaper was destroyed and all was restored to normal, Miss Asaji continued to give out "too much" homework.

- Lara Jill Miller also does the voice of Kari from the first two seasons. This is a reference to Kari becoming a teacher at the end of Season 2. Some were led to believe that she was Kari, despite Tamers taking place in a different universe.
