Takehito created the first V Pet, containing a vaccine program to counter the virus inside the other V Pets created by Mephistomon. He was captured and taken to Mephistomon's base where Baromon threatened him alongside Mr. Tamashiro (who was really Mephistomon in disguise) and threatened to kill Minami if he didn't give over the vaccine program. Eventually Baromon and Mephistomon were destroyed, Takehito witnessing the battles.
